I have Sydney Australia and I highly recommend this breed of doggie. Sydney is the joy in my life and she makes me laugh every day. She fills my heart with love because of her sweetness as well as her loyalty. She is not a barker unless she needs to be–great watch dog too.
Silkys are wonderful for seniors like myself, but also wonderful for families. Sydney loves to play fetch and she learns everything very quickly.
Very intelligent, my silky learned quickly her potty manners, how to play fetch, and she made friends easily with my Tabby as well as my neighbors who think she is just the cutest and always stop to talk to her.
Sydney comes from a loving and caring family and she has “play dates” every month with “mom and dad,” which is her silky mom and dad as well as Mr. and Mrs. Willson.
What a joy in my life. Thank you to the Willsons who love their silkys and provide a wonderful, loving and caring home for them.
I have a puppy–Sydney–who is the very best companion a grammy can have! She is cute, smart, alert, and so much fun. She makes me laugh all of the time. Sometimes, when I am on the emails, she stands at my feet with her toy in her mouth and makes little sounds until I look at her–there she is looking so cute. I just laugh out loud! She is asking me to throw her toy for her so she can go get it and bring it to me again! I just love her so much. She came to me well loved because Becky and Gordon not only have these sweet puppies but they love them. Because of their loving home they are coming from, the babies are just so loving and loyal. I am so thankful for my Silky. Bev:)
How can we ever thank you for sharing one of your kids with us. The differents in Mary is amasing. We have named her “Raven”. For AKC she will be “Under Raven’s Wing”. Mary’s Mother’s family is part of the (Native American) “Raven Clan”. Raven’s forehead is really starting to changing to gray. You can see the gray throughout her coat now.
Raven is now “the boss” of our house (as was our other “silky”). The other animals are just going to have to learn (as well as us).
We love her very much and we are all looking forward to a long life togeather. I hope we will be able to seen picture to you in the future. (But I’m not the picture person, that is our daughter Laura.) Just bug me if I let to much time pass.
